Hi Guys I've been asked by a friend here in Aus to design and build him an adjustable rear brake pedal for his F650GS "Adventure" In an attempt to make a pedal that could suit anyone and everyone, please could you give me some indication on how much adjustment(in mm please), if any, would suit you. -Broader tread on the footbrake lever, height-adjustable by means of patented folding mechanism.-For better operation and dosing of the footbrake when riding off-road.-Height adjustment without tools by folding down the tread before the start of the journey.-Black cathodic dip coating.BMW Motorcycles F850GS|ADV|F750GS I felt that the brake pedal return spring had possibly gotten slack, so I tipped the bike on its side and analyzed the pedal mechanism. 2017-02-21 17.48.13.jpg I noticed that the spring was attached to a keyed tab that could be repositioned to add or remove brake pedal return tension, so I decided to adjust this. Remember that you can adjust your brake switch (underneath the dashboard) to allow the brake pedal to contact the brake light switch for on and off position. The adjustment can be made by loosening the switch mounting bolts and moving the switch forward of backward, against or away from the pedal arm, then tightening the mounting bolts.

Sep 22, 2011 · Update. More adjustment of the brake pedal switch has just bought cruise control back to full operation. I now have no lights at all. But i still may claim a new throttle pedal as i think the engine management light problem isnt over.

On my Scrambler, you can't raise the brake pedal because it hits a solid stop point. Adjusting the link between the pedal and master cylinder won't raise the pedal any. I found a brake pedal enlarger for a KTM dirt bike that is similar to the AltRider piece that is shown by Magile, but smaller, simpler, and cheaper.
